PCB Piezotronics announces the appointment of Joe Morrill to the role of Director of Sales for the PCB Automotive Sensors Division. In his new role, Morrill will work with PCB® international and domestic sales channels, aligning application and product strengths to further increase the global automotive sensors division‘s market share. Morrill is a 23-year automotive testing market and sales management veteran, with his most recent position as the Director of Test for Moog-FCS, which included management of the Americas sales team. “Joe provides the skills needed to drive the sales function of the Automotive Division as we continue to grow and expand our product offering as well as our global presence,” states Jeff Case, Director of Marketing and Product Development. “His background and work in the industry will help solidify PCB Automotive Sensors Division as the global leader in the automotive test and measurement marketplace,” continues Case. Morrill received his BSME from Iowa State University and an MSE from Purdue University and is a licensed professional engineer. He starting his professional career working at General Motors Corporation at the Milford, Michigan, Proving Grounds as a structural test engineer. After 12 years, he joined Entela, an independent test lab, in Livonia, Michigan, managing the advanced engineering and sales teams with a focus on accelerated testing. In 2001, Morrill was hired as the General Manager of COM, Inc., a test equipment controls company, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 2003, COM was sold to FCS and Morrill launched the North American company FCS COM and served as the President/Chief Executive. Moog acquired FCS and FCS COM in 2005 and appointed Morrill as the Director of Test for the Americas. |
